# Build a listicle landing page

> Create a reasons-why Jurni page where each point advances the buying decision instead of repeating the same benefit in different words.

# Build a listicle landing page

Use a listicle when your campaign is strongest as **several distinct reasons, benefits, or decision criteria** that can be understood quickly.

A good listicle is not “7 reasons because 7 sounds clickable.” Each reason should answer a different customer question and move the reader closer to the product decision.

## When to use it

A listicle works well when:

* the product has several clear, distinct advantages
* the category is easy to understand but needs proof or differentiation
* traffic is cold and benefits from a skimmable page
* creator or paid-social traffic arrives from a “reasons why” angle
* the buying decision can be broken into recognizable criteria

Avoid the format when the product needs one deep mechanism explained in sequence. An advertorial may be better in that case.

## Step 1: define the list around customer decisions

Before choosing a number, list the reasons a shopper actually cares about.

```text theme={null}
AUDIENCE
[audience]
CAMPAIGN ANGLE
[angle]
WHY THEY MIGHT BUY
1. [distinct reason]
2. [distinct reason]
3. [distinct reason]
4. [distinct reason]
5. [distinct reason]
TOP OBJECTION
[objection]
PRIMARY ACTION
[action]
```

Remove reasons that are duplicates. “Easy to use,” “simple,” and “fits your routine” may all be one idea.

## Step 2: order the reasons intentionally

A useful order is often:

1. strongest campaign-matched reason
2. most tangible product difference
3. proof or trust reason
4. convenience / experience reason
5. offer or purchase reason, when appropriate

The first reason should reward the ad click. Do not bury the campaign's core promise at reason #6.

## Copy-ready Jurni prompt

```text theme={null}
Build a listicle landing page for [audience] arriving from [traffic source].
TITLE DIRECTION
“[X] reasons [audience] choose [product / approach] for [job-to-be-done]”
USE THESE APPROVED REASONS
1. [reason]
2. [reason]
3. [reason]
4. [reason]
5. [reason]
For each reason:
- give it one clear headline
- explain the customer relevance in 1–3 short paragraphs or bullets
- use the supplied approved evidence or product fact where appropriate
- use a supporting visual if available
- avoid repeating language from other reasons
PAGE FLOW
- campaign-matched hero
- the reasons in the order above
- relevant approved proof throughout
- clear product / purchase transition
- FAQ for remaining objections
DO NOT
Invent reasons, data, testimonials, review counts, comparisons, pricing, or discounts.
Keep real product and purchase behavior functional.
MOBILE
Make each reason easy to scan with a strong heading, short supporting copy, and clear visual separation.
```

## Step 3: make every reason pass the “so what?” test

A product fact is not automatically a reason to buy.

**Fact:** “Comes in individual packets.”

**Customer reason:** “Easy to keep in your work bag or carry-on.”

The customer-facing explanation should connect the product truth to the intended audience without adding unsupported outcomes.

## Step 4: vary proof, not facts

A listicle becomes monotonous when every reason follows the same card pattern with the same generic quote underneath.

Use proof where it fits:

* customer quote for lived experience
* product imagery for design / format
* approved comparison for differentiation
* founder note for design rationale
* rating or review count for trust

Do not invent proof just to make every reason look symmetrical.

## Step 5: create momentum toward the product

The page should not end with “Reason #7” and then abruptly show a purchase control.

Use the later reasons to make the product decision feel increasingly obvious, then transition:

> “Taken together, these are the reasons \[audience] use \[product] for \[job].”

Then make the product, offer, and primary action clear.

## Step 6: check for duplicate reasoning

Use:

```text theme={null}
Review the reasons in this listicle.
Do not edit yet.
For each reason, summarize the single customer decision it supports in one sentence.
Flag any two reasons that are essentially the same idea.
Flag any reason that is mostly filler or does not have approved support.
Recommend the cleanest order for a first-time visitor.
```

## What good looks like

A reader should be able to skim only the reason headlines and still understand the argument for the product.

If they read the details, they should learn something new under each reason rather than seeing the same benefit repeated.

## Common mistakes

**Choosing the number first.** Start with the real reasons; the number follows.

**Turning features into empty superlatives.** Explain why the feature matters to this audience.

**Using vague reason headlines.** “It's better” is not a reason. “No measuring or mixing” is.

**Making every card identical regardless of content.** Use layout consistency, but let evidence types vary.

**No purchase transition.** A useful article still needs a clear next action.

## What to test next

* 3–4 strongest reasons versus 7+ reasons
* campaign reason first versus product-difference reason first
* proof embedded in each reason versus separate proof section
* product section midway versus only at the end
