# Manage creators

> Add creator records, keep handles and campaign references organized, and find active or archived creators in Jurni.

Use **Creators** under **Channels** in the Jurni sidebar to maintain creator records for your brand. Keep the person's identity, promotional code, and affiliate reference distinct so the right information reaches each campaign.

## Add a creator

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open Creators in the correct shop">
    Check the shop switcher, then select **Creators** in the main sidebar.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Select Add Creator">
    The **Add new creator** form opens.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Enter the creator details">
    Add the creator's first and last name. The form also includes optional Instagram handle, email, and discount-code fields, plus media upload controls.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Add an affiliate reference when relevant">
    When the shop has Bix Grow or Affiliatly enabled, the corresponding reference field appears. Copy the reference from the correct provider rather than guessing it from the creator's handle.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Save and confirm the record">
    Complete the form and wait for the success confirmation. Check the Creators list before adding the same person again.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## Find an existing creator

Use **Search creators…** to locate the record. The list separates active and archived creators; use the archive-view control when a creator is not in the active list.

The table includes the creator's name, handle, discount code, revenue, and total traffic. **BixGrow Ref** and **Affiliatly Ref** appear when their integrations are enabled for the shop.

<Note>
  A creator missing from the active view is not necessarily deleted. Check the archived view and the active shop before creating a duplicate record.
</Note>

## Prepare the campaign separately

A creator record is not the same thing as a completed landing page. Build or select the intended experience, confirm its product and offer, and verify the actual URL you will give the creator.

If the campaign uses a discount, test it in cart and checkout. Recording a code in a creator profile is not a substitute for checking that the discount applies to the intended products and purchase types.

For affiliate campaigns, verify the full link and checkout path in the affiliate provider as well. The Revenue and Total Traffic columns are not a commission or payout statement.

## Keep records usable

Use the same person and provider references consistently across the creator record, campaign brief, and affiliate platform. Update an existing record when details change rather than using small spelling variations to create another one.

Before archiving a record connected to an active campaign, confirm the campaign's routing and reporting requirements with your team. Do not use archiving as a substitute for changing or retiring the campaign URL deliberately.
