A working page preview is not the final launch test. Start with the exact URL that will be used in the campaign, including its tracking parameters, and follow the shopper’s journey. For Shopify, /apps/jurni/ and /pages/ are different publishing paths. A page on the store’s domain is not automatically a native Shopify Page.

2. Follow the full journey

1

Open the campaign entry link

Use a fresh browser session for the first test. Confirm the destination is live and does not require an editor login.
2

Check campaign details

Confirm the intended campaign parameters survive the journey. Keep the entry URL and final URL available when investigating a mismatch; an external redirect or script can change them.
3

Check the page

Inspect mobile and desktop layout, images, offer copy, primary buttons, forms, and reviews. Test the real page rather than relying on the editor canvas.
4

Check the purchase

Select the important variants, quantities, and one-time or subscription options. Verify the actual cart and checkout, including discounts or gifts. Use an agreed test-order process when purchase attribution needs validation.
5

Check measurement

Have the person responsible for tracking confirm the required events and consent behavior. Check for duplicate pixels or tag managers, especially on Shopify Pages.

When launching an experiment

Confirm each variant works on its own, then enter through the test’s connected link. Refreshing one browser repeatedly is not a reliable test of the allocation: a visitor can retain their assignment. Compare results using the same date range. The underlying experience can also receive direct traffic, so its session total need not match the experiment’s total. When something fails

Capture the entry URL, final URL, device, time of the test, selected product option, and the expected versus actual result. Include a screenshot of the relevant state, with customer and payment information removed. Use link troubleshooting, cart troubleshooting, or integration troubleshooting. Fix the failing step before increasing traffic.
